Athletic Development for Kids


Welcome to Youth in Fitness. We know that kids are our most precious resource. That is why we want to get our Youth moving again. There have been many studies recently linking inactivity to obesity in children. This is no surprise.

With the influence of television, video games of all varieties, computers and more the children of today are just not as active as they were in the past. With Physical Education programs in schools not being mandatory the increase in obesity and unhealthy kids has been alarming.

As Dr. Kwame Brown puts it...."We are not brains in a jar". What he means is that human beings are not meant to just do well in school and not play or have fun. Play and fun are absolute essentials.

At Youth in Fitness we will work with your Children to provide fun and functional workouts designed around play and learning. One of our Mottos is "Teach, don't Train".

We work with All kids from the age of 6 to 18 but we break them down into specific age groups for their sessions. The age groupings are:

6-9 Years Old
10-13 Years Old
14-18 Years Old

It is our mission at Youth in Fitness to make movement and activity fun again. We want to teach kids how to move their bodies so that they will actually enjoy themselves. This is not a boring P.E. class or a Boot Camp style training. This is all about fun, learning, exploration and fitness.

We will have programs for those youth who are athletes and want to become stronger, faster, more agile and better balanced. No question we cater to these children. We cater to ALL kids and their parents who want something different for their kids rather than the same old same old.
